When press requirements for the me- dium press line are considered, the buyer enters doubtful zone where the obvious advantages the hydrau- lic type heading press weighed against the factor added cost. knuckle joint type heading press frequently used this field, and when equipped with dial carrying four, six, eight heading posts, high production can obtained. the other hand, turret type hydraulic header will also give high production and will (theoretically, least) pro- duce slightly more uniform hardness through the head the case. should also, the writer believes, show longer life. regards the heavy press line, the heading press equipment definitely hydraulic.
