Since the well-known Ide engine was first put on the market a few years ago several modifications of design have been effected, some of them entering only into engines specially so ordered, while others are of a more general character. From the engravings which we present on this page the nature of the more recent changes and the improvements will be read- ily understood. We need not refer in detail to | the main features of the engine as originally brought out, as our readers are undoubtedly sufficiently familiar with them.
